If you're not used to regular waxing sessions, figuring out how to prepare can be a little tricky. Fortunately, the team at Bombshell Salon is here to make your waxing experience as smooth as possible.

For starters, we recommend that you come in with at least 1/4-inch growth in the areas of interest, as we'll need some hair length for the wax to grip onto. As a rule, we won’t be able to wax what you also wouldn’t be able to tweeze. We also recommend the following steps to prepare for your session:

• Avoid harsh chemicals on the skin prior to the appointment such as retinoids, vitamin A, or chemical peels
• Clean your skin and gently exfoliate prior to your appointment (use a loofa or rough towel, but not a sander)
• It's a good idea to moisturize
